At Unique Kids Preparatory School, Inc., we are committed to providing high-quality education and fostering the growth of each and every one of our students. We believe that re-enrollment is a vital aspect of our commitment to your child’s education. Our move to continuous enrollment ensures that your child’s place at UKPS is secure and helps us better plan for the future.
What is re-enrollment, and why is it important?
Re-enrollment is the process in which current UKPS families confirm their intent to return for the following academic year. It is important because it secures your child’s place at UKPS and helps us better plan for the upcoming school year.
Why did we move to continuous enrollment?
Continuous Enrollment simplifies the enrollment process for families by eliminating the need to complete an annual re-enrollment process. It also helps us better plan for the future by ensuring we have an accurate count of returning students.
What is “re-enrollment season”?
The re-enrollment season is the period of time during which families confirm their intent to return for the following academic year. At UKPS, we have eliminated this season by moving to continuous enrollment.
What is the penalty for a broken enrollment contract?
We take enrollment contracts very seriously and expect families to honor their commitment to attend UKPS for the academic year. In the event of a broken contract, families may be responsible for paying the full tuition for the academic year.
What about unique circumstances?
We understand that unexpected circumstances can arise. If you need to withdraw your child from UKPS, we ask that you provide written notice as soon as possible so that we can plan accordingly.
What does the continuous enrollment agreement look like?
- I hereby opt into continuous enrollment at Unique Kids Preparatory School, Inc. This means that my student(s) will be returning to UKPS every year unless I notify the school otherwise.
- I understand that I have until the end of January every year to notify the UKPS admissions office of any changes in my plans of enrollment for my child(ren).
- If I breach this contract by disenrolling my child(ren) after June 1st, I understand that I will be contractually obligated to pay (1) month of tuition as a penalty.
-
UKPSl recognizes that family plans change. For any unique circumstances (such as the following), families disenrolling after the announced deadline will be exempt from the (1) month tuition penalty:
- Moving/Relocation 25+ miles away from Unique Kids Preparatory School, Inc.
- Educational needs for the student that can no longer be met at Unique Kids Preparatory School, Inc., as determined by the UKPS administration.
- Disenrollment at the request of Unique Kids Preparatory School, Inc.
- Other circumstances as approved by the Board of Directors
- I have read and understand the terms of this Continuous Enrollment Agreement and agree to abide by them.
When are the dates to remember for continuous enrollment?
Families will receive more information about this deadline as the academic year progresses.
What are the benefits of continuous enrollment?
Continuous Enrollment simplifies the enrollment process for families and helps us better plan for the future. It also ensures that your child’s place at UKPS is secure, giving you peace of mind as you plan for the upcoming academic year.
